"Precision" Update!


This update means the goal our team of development aimed for when the idea for the GameJam it was born at was created

This game is the core of our friendship, might it not be as good as intended, but sure it was really fun to do! Screams of joy, lots of snacks and even a little of struggle made us work as an unit, as a whole.

Meet THE PROJECT STORY & HISTORY OF UPDATES, "Precision" update being the major one, including greater performance, bug fixes, UI indicators and an adjustable mud eraser!;


# Embarrado

A 2D game project about Pottery and People, made for event 'Game Island Jam 2023' on which the theme was 'Identity'.

# Idea

You, a humble pottery shop worker, molds new figures of mud as you meet new people.

There are some out there who you will struggle with, and some don't, but you decided you gotta try your best to satisfy them quick enough!

But it's dumb when you realize the molding you're making is illusory to yourself, changing your attitude to be liked by others... Have fun with your oblivious desire of being loved!

- First built release with many errors but idea generally well implemented

- Adds access key Space to reset shape to mold (testing purposes)

- Pause functionality!

- Pellagofio mode! (Q on start menu to play as banana potterier)

### v1.3

- Stress expressions! Now the protagonist displays their suffering as you start to fail molding mud shapes

- Pause video screen now stops to display non-yet-working buttons (WIP)

### v1.4 "Precision Update" 🌟

- User Interface; Round and Game Progress info + Transparent, adjustable circle indicator of removable-on-click mud

- Pause; video pausing before option display which weren't even selectable, able to keep muddling on pause

- Timer not running out after resetting/gameplaying more than once

- Smooth person talk animation implemented (Animation plays per round, non-sudden play)

- Better performance (replaced constant create/destroy objects by active/inactive toggling + small code adjustments)
